Dear reader, this is the second Newsletter of the ADRION project SMILE PLUS and we are happy to share with you the latest news about our activities. Our aim is to promote transnational cooperation and to prepare new tools for sustainable mobility policies. We hope that this newsletter will create new ways of sharing our knowledge with you!

About the activities
The SMILE PLUS project of the ADRION programme, brought together partners from four countries with the common goal of capitalizing, disseminating, promoting and upgrading the results of previous SMILE project. Partners (Regional Development Centre Koper (SI), Iuav University of Venice (IT), City of Dubrovnik Development Agency DURA (HR), Regional Agency for Socio-Economic Development – Banat Ltd (RS)) began activities to highlight the results of the sustainable mobility projects.  

   
One of the goals of the project SMILE PLUS is to prepare an overview of methodologies for elaboration of mobility scenarios in different ADRION regions which were impacted by the pandemic of COVID-19. Presentation of local and regional conditions in mobility will facilitate understanding of transport planning in the post-COVID time since the mobility habits in ADRION region changed.

In June different events will be organized in Koper, Venice, Dubrovnik and Zrenjanin focused on the use of post-COVID-19 mobility scenarios for transport planning set up by SMILE PLUS, the role of european territorial cooperation (ETC) promoting sustainable mobility and increasing cohesion and to provide on managing and implementing European projects to future beneficiaries.

RAZVOJ PRIVREDE

Regionalni centar za društveno ekonomski razvoj – Banat pruža brojne usluge koje za cilj imaju unapređenje privrede u Banatu. Ove usluge se kreću od sprovođenja nacionalnih i pokrajinskih razvojnih programa do implementacije projekata koji su finansirani od stranih donatora, najčešće Evropske Unije. Centar u svom odeljenju za razvoj privrede istovremeno razvija i sprovodi i sopstvene usluge, u skladu sa svojom poslovnom politikom i identifikovanim tržišnim kretanjima. Usluge u ponudi Centra su fokusirane, ali ne i ograničene na sektor mikro, malih i srednjih preduzeća i preduzetništva.

Zahvaljujući rezultatima, specifičnoj ponudi usluga i ulozi u razvojnim programima, može se reći da Centar ima pozitivnu reputaciju među korisnicima, osnivačima i regionalnim partnerima i ključnim institucijama koje se bave razvojem AP Vojvodine i Republike Srbije.

Zahvaljujući saradnji sa evropskim programima i uspešnoj implementaciji projekata, Centru je odato i priznanje za dostignuće (eng.”Seal of Achievement”) od strane Evropske Agencije za Rekonstrukciju (EAR).

Centar je posvećen daljem unapređenju kvaliteta života u Banatu, i u toj svojoj misiji, ulaže veliki napor u korišćenju organizacione i finansijske podrške evropskih fondova.

RCR Banat ima za cilj promociju ekonomskih promena afirmišući ulogu sektora malih i srednjih preduzeća i preduzetnika u regionalnom ekonomskom razvoju. Neke od aktivnosti kojima se želi dostići ovaj cilj su:
